A former helicopter pilot with the US Marine Corps, Jennifer Grieves was the first female pilot to ferry the US President aboard Marine One. She is also a decorated military officer with over 25 years of service. To help her stay in shape, Jennifer Grieves engages in indoor cycling using a Peloton bike.

Regular use of an indoor bike, 150 minutes per week, is sufficient to experience the physical benefits of indoor cycling, such as increased strength and improved cardiovascular health. A study published in the Journal of Exercise Rehabilitation found that indoor cycling resulted in improved physical health among female middle school students. It may also reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

Indoor cycling is also good for losing and maintaining weight. A single workout on the indoor bike can burn up to 600 calories. Along with a healthy diet rich in protein and carbohydrates, indoor cycling can raise good cholesterol levels and promote weight loss, according to a study published in the National Library of Medicine.
